Vito Schnabel and 20 Hoxton Square present

One of the highlights of the Frieze art fair last week was Vito Schnabel's invitation to view the Bruce High Quality Foundation site-specific installation at The Tramshed in London, titled Beyond Pastoral.  On view until Saturday October 23rd.  Using 7,000 lemons and limes in the design of the starburst BP logo, they powered the illumination of a 1/5 scale model of a BP station.  At the close of the exhibition, Beyond Pastoral will have required approximately 100 barrels of oil in order to be completed, instead the installation used the lemons and limes, which converts chemical energy into electrical energy.
